Warm cinnamon, spicy apple, pumpkin pie, bright evergreen—just a few of the warm, cozy, seasonal scents of fall. Whether lighting a candle, filling a bowl with potpourri or putting out an oil diffuser, you can easily and quickly fill your house with a variety of the familiar and comforting scents of autumn.
We have two fall-themed potpourri mixes from Madison’s Garden Botanical Infusions. The It’s Halloween! scent is bursting with the spicy smell of black licorice and features black, orange and gold accents in the potpourri. The Fall Gatherings scent is rich with warm cinnamon, fall fruits, gourds and berries. This version comes in both a bag, and also a wire pumpkin holder that is the perfect way to adorably diffuse the scent. The pumpkin holder would also make a great hostess gift. The thing I love about Madison Garden potpourri is that it’s all natural and made in the USA. They also include a small glass vial of essential oil with each bag so you can refresh the scent at home. The bags are beautifully tied with a wide, grosgrain ribbon so they make a great gift on their own.
Our reed and oil diffusers are popular all year long, but even more so in the holiday months when new scents arrive. We carry a range of holiday scents by Rosy Rings including Bay Garland, Pumpkin Farmhouse, Apple Spice, Anjou Pear and Honey Tobacco. These diffusers come in a dramatic square bottle that contains a highly-concentrated fragrance oil combined with real spices, botanicals and fruits. Reed diffusers offer a more subtle dispersion of scent which makes them ideal for guest suites, powder rooms or hallways. They will last from about 6-9 months. We also have the same scents in oversized botanical candles.
Many of customers love the ease and look of an artificial Christmas tree, but miss the old-fashioned smell of pine that fills the house. I highly recommend Frasier Fir candles and diffusers by Thymes in both a 3-wick candle, single candle in green glass jar and a petite reed diffuser. This is my favorite candle to light for the holidays and the scent really fills the room when the candle is lit. This candle combines Siberian fir, sandalwood and cedarwood for a fresh, traditional scent. I keep one of these burning on my kitchen island all winter.
In our candle room we always have a wide assortment of Colonial Candles, which are a trusted name in home fragrance. Available in a range of sizes, the holiday scents include White Pumpkin and Clove, Falling Leaves, Pumpkin Roll, Winter Woods and Bayberry. These classic jar candles are proven to fill your home with an inviting scent, which is why our customers love them!
Regardless of your choice, any of these home fragrance items are sure to create a warm and cozy home environment whether you are entertaining or just relaxing in front of the fire.
