Job Description:
The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for helping to create and maintain an engaging, organized, and visually appealing retail environment. This role balances creativity with hands-on execution, including building and resetting displays, merchandising product, and assisting customers. The position requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to adapt to seasonal changes while maintaining store standards. As a family-owned business, we expect a customer-first mindset, ownership of store presentation, and a commitment to teamwork across all departments.
Schedule & Compensation:
• Hourly, non-exempt position
• Full-Time: typical shifts are 6–8 hours
• Part-Time: typical shifts are 4–5 hours
• Schedules are posted weekly and may vary based on business needs
• Weekend availability is required
• Two designated blackout days per year where all employees are required to work

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Help to design, build, and maintain attractive and organized store displays
• Reset and update displays seasonally to promote new products
• Merchandise product accurately within displays
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all visual displays daily
• Assist customers with product selection and questions
• Provide guidance and coordination for display execution across departments
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency throughout the store
• Maintain knowledge of all merchandise and current promotions
• Assist in moving and placing product frequently throughout the showroom
• Support other departments as needed to maintain overall store operations
• Attend trade shows and work with vendors as required

Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and visual presentation; ability to balance creativity with execution; ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced, seasonal environment; strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to adapt quickly and manage priorities.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to stand and walk for the majority of the shift. Frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Frequent climbing of ladders, bending, reaching, and moving product required. Work involves ongoing physical activity throughout the shift.
Work Environment:
Primarily indoor showroom environment with minimal exposure to outdoor conditions. Open retail space with light to moderate noise levels.
